In March 2022, AIA made a donation of HK$10 million via AIA Foundation to the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) to offer emergency support to people with disabilities who were impacted by the pandemic. The donation was made in the form of supermarket and dining cash vouchers to be distributed through HKCSS' agency members to 10,000 persons with disabilities, supporting them on purchases of meals and daily necessities to weather the hardship.
Donation to the Hong Kong Council of Social Service
Donation to Yan Oi Tong
In March 2022, AIA made a HK$30 million donation to Yan Oi Tong through AIA Foundation, providing prompt and targeted support for 10,000 elderly living alone and the underprivileged. Apart from distributing pandemic care packs, Yan Oi Tong also provided them with various support, including medical services, home care services, and to purchase health products and daily necessities for home-delivery, to ensure their critical needs are duly met amid the pandemic.
Donating Family Protection Boxes to Continue Anti-Epidemic Efforts in Hong Kong
In an effort to continue supporting people in need, AIA Foundation has launched another round of anti-epidemic campaign, purchasing 3,000 Family Protection Boxes for donation to less privileged families in Hong Kong in May 2020. Each of the Family Protection Boxes – an enhanced version of the Health Protection Kits – included more antiseptic supplies and staple food items, such as noodles, oatmeal and biscuits, in addition to face masks, alcohol-based hand sanitiser, hand sanitising wipes, cooking oil and rice.
Donation to Caritas Macau in Fight Against COVID-19
To support the less privileged community in Macau in light of COVID-19, we donated to Caritas Macau to support the provision of anti-epidemic supplies and nutritious meals in its elderly centres in May 2020.
Food Voucher Programme
In May 2020, AIA Foundation made donations to the Windshield Charitable Foundation in support of its food voucher programme for less privileged children and families. Over a period of four months, a total of 5,000 food vouchers were distributed through the programme. AIA volunteers also helped deliver food vouchers and lunch boxes to families and children living in subdivided flats, as well as to elderly people living alone.
Donation of Health Protection Kits Against COVID-19
To encourage sustainable efforts from corporations to support people in need in our community, AIA Foundation donated a total of 10,000 Health Protection Kits to 5,000 less privileged families in Eastern District twice within a month to fight against COVID-19 with Hong Kong people in March 2020. The kits, which included face masks, alcohol-based hand sanitiser, hand sanitising wipes and cooking oil or rice, provided the families with virus-preventive essentials and staple food items.
Lifeline Express
We have been visiting the Lifeline Express hospital train for years, on top of donating funds that make it possible for underprivileged cataract patients in Mainland China to receive free eye operations.
Children's Heart Foundation
We donated to the Children's Heart Foundation, which makes it possible for children suffering from congenital heart defect to receive appropriate treatment.
Evangelical Lutheran Church Hong Kong, Ling Oi Centre
With the donation to Ling Oi Centre, we support their rehabilitation services to ex-drug abusers and offer them a new truck to develop occupational skills.

We donated to RainLily to support its one-stop services targeted at sexual violence victims.
Heep Hong Society
With the donation to Heep Hong Society, we support their quality trainings targeted at children and youths with special needs, including the ‘Adventure Land' in its Integrated Service Complex.
Make-A-Wish Hong Kong
With the donation to Make-A-Wish Hong Kong, we helped make wishes come true for children with critical illnesses in Hong Kong and Macau, empowering them with hopes, strength and joy.
Hong Kong Cancer Fund Pink Revolution
We supported Cancer Fund's Pink Revolution in their efforts to provide free services related to breast cancer and affected families, in order to raise public awareness about breast cancer.
Hong Kong Alzheimer's Disease Association
We donated to Hong Kong Alzheimer's Disease Association, helping people living with dementia to benefit from the services offered by the Association's day centres.
The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation
We donated to the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation in support of their easy-access transport services for people with impaired mobility, demonstrating our belief in standing with patients throughout their recovery process.
