AIA Hong Kong has been named “Best Employer Hong Kong 2016” by global consulting firm, Aon Hewitt, and holds the distinction of being the first insurer ever in Hong Kong to be honoured with this accolade. The award is a tribute to AIA Hong Kong and Macau's excellent achievements in employee engagement and talent development.

The Aon Hewitt Best Employers award is known for its comprehensive and rigorous assessment process. AIA Hong Kong was shortlisted for outperforming the Hong Kong benchmark in four key criteria: high employee engagement, high performance culture, effective leadership and compelling employer brand. The professional and proven methodology included an employee opinion survey to examine work satisfaction levels, a People Practice report from companies and a CEO interview to assess the overall performance of participating companies from different perspectives. These were then analysed by an independent, professional judging panel which selected the companies to be awarded with the “Best Employers” distinction. AIA Hong Kong and Macau Executive Committee has pledged to develop, empower, and care for our people.
