Important note

  • You need to pay 3 months' premium in advance while autopay is being set up.
  • Autopay is also applicable for paying AIA Vitality Membership Fee.
  • Direct debit authorization (DDA) set up must be made by policyholder, insured or beneficiary. For DDA set up by immediate family members (spouse, parents & children) or other relationship of policyholder or insured, documentary proof of relationship may be required.

  • Credit card autopay is not acceptable for the following types of policy:
    • AIA Asset Accumulator
    • AIA Asset Accumulator (Enhanced Death Benefit)
    • Treasure Advantage
    • Wealth FlexiProtector
    • Cheerful Life
    • U-Select
    • Journey Protect Medical Plan
  • If you have applied CCBA Multiple Installment Plan would like us to deduct the levy due (if applicable) from the same credit card account, please complete the form "Direct Debit Authorisation For Levy Payment (For Use By CCBA Premium Installment Plan)".

Information and Frequently asked questions

To facilitate explaining the details to you, please refer below FAQs for your reference.


Acknowledge letter will be issued to you upon receipt of DDA setup application indicating the effective date and autopay cycle. AIA+ users will also receive push notification about DDA setup status. If the DDA setup is rejected by bank, we will notify you in separate letter regarding autopay setup failure.


Only UnionPay Dual Currency Card issued by CCB (Asia) can be accepted for DDA setup. 


The cancellation request will be effective within 7 working days upon receipt of instruction.  For example, if autopay will be transferred on 15 Feb 2023, you need to submit the cancellation by 6 Feb 2023 or before.

 
You can contact through your Financial Planner and submit the application via iChange or complete the form of "Request for Change Form / Subsequent Application for Personal Accident Contract " to make request.

No. Due to the payment mode was monthly and set up other credit card as autopay account, the existing autopay account will be cancelled automatically when changed the payment mode from monthly to non-monthly.
You can apply autopay online via AIA+; contact your Financial Planner via iChange or submit the below Form to set up the DDA again.
