Following the successful cross-industry collaboration with OpenRice and the launch of "AIA Eat-to-Win Lucky Draw"¹ campaign, AIA Hong Kong continues to innovate with the launch of market-first² dining-focused accidental hospital income benefit, "AIA Dining Cover"³. With a premium of only HK$3 per insured per reservation, "AIA Dining Cover"³ offers accidental hospital income and/or accidental death benefits for accidents or deaths from dining at covered reserved restaurants, including COVID-19 infections, bodily injuries or food poisoning, and traffic accidents en route to and from the reserved restaurants. Users who have connected AIA Connect and OpenRice accounts, and make restaurant bookings through OpenRice in Hong Kong will see the "AIA Dining Cover"³ marketing banner on the "Booking Success" page of OpenRice. Upon clicking the banner, users will be directed to AIA Hong Kong's website, where they can learn more and complete the application for "AIA Dining Cover"³in as little as two minutes.

From now till 31 January 2023, customers can receive extra Rice$3⁴ for each "AIA Dining Cover"³ application during the promotion period, allowing them to enjoy a worry-free dining experience while earning rewards.

"AIA Dining Cover"³ Features:

"AIA Dining Cover"³ (a general insurance product) provides accidental hospital income and accidental death benefits at a premium of only HK$3 per insured per reservation. Applications can be completed in as little as two minutes.

Cover Details: An accidental hospital income of HK$800 per day for up to 10 days per insured during the coverage period and 40 days per calendar year per insured. Covered incidents include:
- Contracting COVID-19 at the reserved restaurant
- Bodily injuries resulted from accidents at the premise of the reserved restaurant
- Traffic accidents (en route to or departing from the reserved restaurant)
- Food poisoning from dining at the reserved restaurant
In case of death from the above incidents during the coverage period, "AIA Dining Cover"³ provides a lump sum payment of HK$10,000 as accidental death benefit.
Customers who are the policyholder and primary insured may include their spouse or unmarried minor(s) as additional insured in the application.
Simple and Fast Claim Experience: A simple and fast one-stop claims journey, allowing customers to fill out the claim form and submit relevant documents from the convenience of their mobile phones (accidental death claim forms are available for online download).
