AIA Hong Kong and Medix today announced that they have entered into an exclusive partnership to provide Personal Medical Case Management Service to Hong Kong insured members. The first of its kind, selected AIA customers can have their medical case reviewed by a Medix dedicated medical case team, 300 in-house specialists and a global network of over 3,000 independent leading specialists to ensure they receive the best possible care available locally or anywhere in the world. The new offering takes medical insurance coverage in the territory to a new level, never experienced before, by pairing superior medical protection with the highest standards of quality care.
Redefines Quality Medical Protection in Hong Kong
This strategic partnership combines AIA's industry-leading health insurance solutions with Medix' expertise in global medical case management to deliver unprecedented care and protection to the people of Hong Kong. Customers of AIA Hong Kong can take advantage of the Personal Medical Case Management Service provided by Medix' team of renowned medical experts from around the globe.
A dedicated service for a minimum period of 3 months, available upon need 24/7 throughout the customer's medical journey, Personal Medical Case Management Service gives AIA Hong Kong's customers peace of mind by making sure they get the right diagnosis as fast as possible and the optimal treatment in their time of need. Medix will collect multidisciplinary opinions from different specialists and hold multi-disciplinary team discussions for the customer and recommend the most advanced, up to date appropriate, and holistic treatment plan to ensure accessibility and implementation of the best possible medical care. This service will alleviate the stress and pressure on customers and their families when facing the most challenging times in their lives. Further Medix will support customers in dealing with on-going treatments, side-effects, questions and will ensure that best quality care is provided throughout the customer's medical journey.
