Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong

Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong was formed in June 2020 to facilitate the establishment and maintenance of the highest professional standards for financial planners in Hong Kong, via implementation of self-regulation, to ensure that customers receive appropriate services and their interests are protected. In November 2020, Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong received authorisation from the Bureau of Financial Planners and Standards of the United States of America to become the only organization in Hong Kong and Macau that is responsible for assessing and awarding qualified financial planning professionals the CFP® certification mark. CFP® certification has been welcomed by the industry and general public. It is the most-recognized advanced certification for financial planners and represents the pinnacle of financial planning excellence.
